New York Memories – A tale of Christmas’ past and rediscovering Prohibition.

I love New York and I can’t believe it was almost a decade ago that I was last there. I spent a Christmas in New York and it snowed – it was wonderful.

There are so many things to see and do in New York, you could spend months discovering them all. Me, I’ve always been a fan of history and the end of the 1920s in America during the years of prohibition (alcohol) are particularly intriguing – so many fascinating characters.

And so, happening on this place as I was just walking around all those years ago was pure serendipity. It was living history.
